Modalities.

Hello everyone!
If you want to study but you have some questions about learning modalities,  this space is for you:

The purpose of the research is try to find out more about  modalities in distance learning. Nowadays is very common find a people who have been studying  for distance learning, now we want to share some definition and  give you some resources, its is very important for us.

LEARNING MODALITIES

BEGINNINGS:
Montessori schools in 1915
Freinet 1920.

  • Learning modalities, learning styles, or multiple intelligences -
  • We come not only from differing localities, abilities, cultures, and home experiences, but we inherently have different learning modalities. In addition, we possess varying combinations of these learning modalities - it's not an all or none issue. Your own learning style affects your teaching and what you plan for and with children).

DISTANCE LEARNING:

DISTANCE EDUCATION
is an educational project in which students do not need to physically attend a classroom. Normally, the student is sent by mail the study materials (texts, videos, audio tapes, CD-Rom) and it returns the solved exercises. Today, it is also used email and other Internet facilities, such as blogs, virtual classrooms primarily as LMS Moodle (Online Education). Developed learning new communication technologies are called e-learning. In some cases, students should or can go physically at certain times to receive tutoring, or for further tests. There is distance education for any level of education, but as usual is being conducted for college.
The most attractive feature of this type of research is its flexibility in schedules. The student organizes his study period itself, which requires a degree of self-discipline. This flexible schedule is often limited in certain courses that require participation online at specific times or places.

ROLE OF DISTANCE EDUCATION
Among the various roles that can occur in a distance education team can be mentioned:

o   General Coordinator: Responsible for articulating the processes of the whole team. Sets the schedule of activities, the tasks proposed and plans and controls the operation of the project. Will also guide the development of the subject's personality.

o   Expert in content: teacher in charge of the course and content expert of the topic to be taught at a distance. According to the way it is understood in every region, country or culture, the content expert change his role, for example, in Bolivia (Distance Education) is the person who writes, produces modules and thematic units - known as the tutor - a true scientific study of intellectual production. It is highly desirable that this person is the guardian, but a matter of time often can not (because their job is to produce knowledge) then helps the tutor.

o   Teacher tutor: it supports the administration, guiding and directing the student. It is dedicated to making texts; for example, build the modules that are part of the course. This same person can be the one who leads, guides ... participants, but if you do not have their support is the tutor - as such - (a person knowledgeable in the subject, but that does not necessarily produce the contents of the modules) can act as that person to guide the educational process distance. The tutor in distance should have a different skill of the teacher engaged in classroom training, some of which may be the domain of ICT (new technologies), knowledge to organize and manage online courses and what it represents (groups discussion forums, debates, etc.). You must have a written communication skills quite refined, as the student does not face and therefore can not interact equally with him.

o   Design Advisor: specialist teacher helps the teacher to select the necessary resources and design activities, is also known as the instructional designer.

o    Technology Advisory: supports the teaching team by selecting the appropriate technology tools for the achievement by students of the learning objectives proposed.

o
o   Graphic Designer: select appropriate graphical resources for online courses.
o   Evaluating the system: is responsible for evaluating the entire system (materials, tutors, students and administration), may also propose remedial action to address problems that have occurred during the course online.
Also, consider the marketing team and functions relating to educational sites or linked, if it exists in the system face meetings in different geographic locations.
